We've covered who and what. That is You// Eating Meat and Veggies, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, no sugar, grains nor legumes. Sleeping 8 hours a night. Drinking water (100oz/75oz). Killing it in the gym 5-6 times a week.
Where// The best way for you to ensure that you're eating clean foods, is for the majority of your meals this month to come from home. I could lie to you and be all like, "psh, it's easy, just make your meals and take them with you." or "You'll have no problem politely telling your great aunt to buzz off when she's sweetly trying to force feed you her famous garlic-cheesy-deep-fried lasagna-pizza-tacos." This month will be hard! But for a moment think of how silly we humans act//somehow, Fran is the EASY part of our fitness journey. We're willing to do a workout that makes our teeth hurt and gives us that bloody iron taste in the backs of our mouths for the rest of the day, but it is so incredibly difficult to eat a plumb rather than a donut...
When// When you're hungry! We have amazing bodies that tell us when it's time! Eat something that's not salty so it fills you up. If you wait too long, you're more likely to give in to temptation. FACT!
Why// Because you guys train really hard! Because you wouldn't be walking into Harvest CrossFit everyday if you didn't already think you could do something awesome! Because you're tough, I've seen it!
When you're hanging out with your friends this month and they say something like, "C'mon man, you make us feel bad about what we're eating when you eat so healthy!" Smile and reply, "I want to beat my Fran time."
